ALMOST made the cut..

South Carolina at #13 Kentucky (Can Spencer Rattler get a signature W for Cocks after losses to Pig Suey and UGGA?)

Washington State at #6 USC (Lincoln Riley and Trojans need to be careful against Wazzu as they seek that #4 seed in CFP)

Western Kentucky at UTSA (Key C-USA game as we near midpoint of season... WOW!!!)

East Carolina at Tulane (Purple Pirates need 3 W's to get to bowl eligibility. Tough schedule ahead starting with Green Wave)

Virginia Tech at Pittsburgh (More Coastal Chaos to end the era of divisional ACC play)

  7. BIG day for ACC FOOTBALL!!!...

    TENNESSEE 39 LSU 29:
Craigger's Vols are headed for a BIG year! Brian Kelly has gained some traction. but NOON games in Baton Rouge are not THAT intimidating.

    TEXAS CHRISTIAN 38 KANSAS 34:
Rock, Chalk, Jayhawk is off to a great start and Jalen Daniels is a LEGIT qb, but KU isn't ready for the hype of College Gameday, etc. Horned Frogs slow KU offense to some degree and walk, chalk, Jawhawk away from Lawrence with a W.

    ARKANSAS 29 MISSISSIPPI STATE 26:
Won't be easy in Starkvegas, but Pig Suey ready for a big W after losses to A&M and Bama. Miust keep Will Rodgers off the field as much as possible.

    TEXAS 48 OKLAHOMA 38:
Quinn Ewers is back at QB for Hook "Em after a shoulder injury against Bama. Should be another fun Red River game, but OU won't be able to stop Horns offense when it counts.

    UTAH 34 UCLA 26:
Utes stock is Rising after opening season loss to Gator Nation. Will be a good game, but Utah gets a couple of key plays on D in 4th to pull this one out. Utes fans will represent today in Rose Bowl. Why does LA support Trojans more than Bruins?

    DUKE 34 GEORGIA TECH 31:
REALLY big game for Devils as they seek bowl eligibility (although I'm not going to call them Coastal contenders... yet). Jackets played well and beat Pitt last weekend for interim coach Brent Key. Can they keep up that same passion a week later? This is a coin flip of a game, but Duke's vets remember giving away a game to GT in Durm last year.

    NORTH CAROLINA 47 MIAMI, THE U 41:
Either Miami is one of the greatest disappointments in the NCAA, or they were never that good to begin with. Mario Cristobal's seat might be getting warm already, but he could get the train back on track today. Total points here might be way to LOW (Canes gave up 45 to MTSU last time out). Drake Maye makes one more play in the 4th and Heels head to showdown at Wallace Wade next Saturday night.

KANSAS STATE 23 IOWA STATE 20:
Really tough game for Wildcats as Cyclones come back home after tough losses to BU and KU. I think this K-State team is for real and will pull out a Maalox Masher behind Vaughn and Martinez.

BRIGHAM YOUNG 37 NOTRE DAME 34:
Irish showed out well vs. UNC-Cheat, but that very well could be fool's gold. Anybody's game here, but Cougs get big defensive stop in 4th to get the dub.

NC STATE 30 FLORIDA STATE 27:
Both teams SHOULD come into Carter-Finley after disappointing losses last weekend. But how will they really react? The season is hardly over for both, but loser is almost certainly out of ANY hope for a tie atop the Atlantic Division. Jordan Travis has been putting iup nice numbers for tFSU and Noles have the running game to support the pass. However, NCSU's D will rise to the occasion in the 4th to keep Pack on track for (at least) 10 wins in 2022. Time for Devin Leary to step it up!!!

  8. Both tFSU and NCSU should come into Carter-Finley jacked up for this game, that is. They definitely will come into the game at Carter-Finley... LOL!!!
