A Working Definition of MOJO...

I LOVE WORKING DEFINITIONS! I think a proper way to introduce this blog is to define "mojo". SOOOO... you might be asking yourself, what is the definition of MOJO? And, what is a "MOJO Coach"? If you are asking yourself these questions, I'm REALLY glad you are! Wikipedia actually has several different angles of "mojo". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mojo. The definition that pertains to this blog is, "a slang word for self-confidence, self-esteem, or self-efficacy". The MOJO Coach defines "mojo" simply as the way one sees oneself. This is the key to all relationships, in my opinion. You truly do have to be comfortable with yourself so that you can have a great relationship with others. (That doesn't mean that EVERYTHING has to be right in your world, because you will never have a relationship with anyone if you wait for perfection). Rather, a peace and comfort for who you are and where you are is very important. (WE ALL HAVE FAULTS!!!) This blog will have a great deal of humor (I LOVE TO LAUGH), but it will also be a forum of seriousness. I expect all who read and participate to be respectful of others.

Burping (and other bodily noises): An Impairment To Relationships?

One of the biggest issues in modern relationships seems to be burping (and other bodily noises). Our society usually takes the stance that men enjoy bodily noises while women do not. The Mojo Coach agrees with our societal view. Personally, belching can be quite relieving and, to some degree, entertaining - entertaining with other guys, that is. I don't want to take women out of the burping society, however. I have a sister-in-law (who will remain nameless, but she is the one that lives in Minnesota) that can burp with the best of 'em, men or women. The Mojo Coach's official stance on burping (and other bodily noises) is that they should be kept to an absolute minimum in mixed company. Sure, burping The Star Spangled Banner or reciting the National Anthem without coming up for air is QUITE IMPRESSIVE! However, if you want to keep your lady from giving you the stank eye... cover up or do it with a concrete wall separating you and your honey.
