(All apologies to Boomer Sooner and Okey State for "Game Of The Week") #goaccplayoffs

Saturday, November 4th - WEEK #10
______________________________

12:00 #7 Penn State (7-1) at #24 Michigan State (6-2) FOX

12:00 Kansas State (4-4) at Texas Tech (4-4) FS1

3:30 #6 Clemson (7-1) at #20 NC State (6-2) ABC

3:30 #14 Iowa State (6-2) at West Virginia (5-3) ESPN2

3:30 #18 Stanford (6-2) at #25 Washington State (7-2) FOX

3:30 Northwestern (5-3) at Nebraska (4-4) Big 10 + 4 Network

3:30 #8 Oklahoma (7-1) at #11 Oklahoma State (7-1) FS1

8:00 #19 LSU (6-2) at #1 Alabama (8-0) CBS

8:00 #13 Virginia Tech (7-1) at #9 Miami, THE U (7-0) ABC

10:45 #23 Arizona (6-2) at #17 USC (7-2) ESPN

NOTE:  Those Duke Blue Devils and UNLV-CH Tar Heels (the latter MAY have regained full-time status on CFC with gutty performance vs. THE U last weekend) have THIS weekend off (most people at these two institutions are now thinkin' hoops anyway).

Ryan's make-up MADNESS (from the wedding weekend)...

12:00 Florida at Missouri
12:20 Syracuse at Florida State
3:00 Georgia State at Georgia Southern
3:30 Maryland at Rutgers
3:30 North Texas at Louisiana Tech
3:30 Army at Air Force
4:00 Mississippi at Kentucky
5:30 Utah State at New Mexico
7:00 Colorado State at Wyoming
7:00 UT-San Antonio at Florida International

ALMOST made the cut...

Syracuse at Florida State
(Noles are really struggling and the Orange offense is surging. Can tFSU gain traction this weekend?)

Florida at Missouri
(Can Randy Shannon work some interim magic in Gator Nation like he did at THE U? Hopefully Florida D will slow down Mizzu QB Drew Lock)

Georgia Tech at Virginia
(Hoos have a chance vs Jackets in Charlottesville. That 10 point spread probably too big)

Texas at #10 Texas Christian
(Horned Frogs have to respond after ISU defeat. Less than a TD fav in Fort Worth)

Wake Forest at Notre Dame
(Deacs are having a nice season, but injury to WR Greg Dortch really hurts chances of a W over Touchdown Jesus).

HONORABLE MENTION...

#16 Auburn at Texas A&M
(Tigers a 2 TD fav in College Station. Might be a LITTLE too much. Kamryn Pettway is FINALLY healthy.)

WEEK #9 GAMES: 2017/18 COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHALLENGE (sponsored by Donald J. Trump's hairpiece and SportClips)

(Might be a little #goacc bias in "The Game of The Week" selection for WEEK #9 with #2 Penn State at #6 THE Ohio State University also on the slate. I will accept any constructive criticism from any BIG 10 + 4 supporters. However, I still consider the boys from Happy Valley fraudulent. They can prove me wrong for the rest of the season with a W in Columbus on Saturday afternoon).

12:00 Louisville (5-3) at Wake Forest (4-3) ACC Network

12:00 #11 Oklahoma State (6-1) at #22 West Virginia (5-2) ABC

2:00 California (4-4) at Colorado (4-4) PAC-12 Network

3:30 #2 Penn State (7-0) at #6 Ohio State (6-1) FOX

3:30 #4 Texas Christian (7-0) at #25 Iowa State (5-2) ABC

3:30 #14 NC State (6-1) at #9 Notre Dame (6-1) NBC

3:30 #16 Michigan State (6-1) at Northwestern (4-3) ESPN

7:15 Mississippi State (5-2) at Texas A&M (5-2) ESPN

7:20 Duke (4-4) at #13 Virginia Tech (6-1) ACC Network

10:45 #21 USC (6-2) at Arizona State (4-3) ESPN

NOTE: UNC-Cheat (a.k.a., UNLV-CH) has been reduced to a day-day basis due to extremely poor performance on the football field and the competitive fabric of the CFC. Don't worry, UNC-Cheat will be back on the slate this season. This was an executive decision). - TMC

ALMOST made the cut...

___________________

Georgia Tech at #7 Clemson
(This game is frequently a barn burner... might have made the slate if played in HOTlanta).

#3 Georgia vs. Florida (a.k.a., World's Largest Cocktail Party)
(Bulldogs need to be careful, but UGGA certainly the class of WLCP this year)

Florida State at Boston College (Friday)
(This should be quite the battle, actually. Eagles have soared to new heights in recent weeks, but we try to avoid Thurs/Fri games as much as possible on the CFC)

#15 Washington State at Arizona
(I was kinda lookin' forward to Wazzu in the CFP until they got railroaded by Cal. Could happen again in Tuscon)

Tennessee at Kentucky
(Who will be the next Head Ball Coach in Knoxville? There is a little hidden meaning here. UK should get to the Papa John's Bowl, but Cats fans are full grown into hoops)

HONORABLE MENTION...

#8 Miami (THE U) at UNC-Cheat
(It's not impossible for Heels to get it all together and upset the Canes, but nearly impossible. Larry Fedora's job is secure, but this team is a sinking ship. Had to give the WFU Deacs some love this weekend)

4:00 Oregon (4-3) at UCLA (3-3) (PAC 12 Network)

Ryan's make-ups from the wedding weekend...

12:00 Iowa State at Texas Tech
12:00 Temple at Army
12:30 Boston College at Virginia
2:00 Troy at Georgia State
2:00 Western Michigan at Eastern Michigan
2:30 Buffalo at Miami (of Ohio)
3:00 Central Michigan at Ball State
3:30 Arizona State at Utah
5:00 Louisiana-Monroe at South Alabama
7:00 Brigham Young at East Carolina
____________________________

ALMOST made the cut...

#25 Memphis at Houston
(Important American Conference West game, but we try to avoid Friday games as much as possible)

#10 Oklahoma State at Texas
(Pokes should win, but Horns took Boomer Sooner to the edge last weekend. Texas might get a number beside their name with a W in Austin)

#24 LSU at Mississippi
(What a nice turnaround for Bayou Bengals after embarrassing loss to Troy. Can they keep it up at The Grove?)

Arizona State at Utah
(Tough loss to USC for Utes last weekend. Sun Devils showing signs of life.)

Boston College at Virginia
(Hoos have sights on Coastal Division crown. BC laid the wood to Louisville last weekend. Should be a good game in Charlottesville)

HONORABLE MENTION:

Brigham Young at East Carolina
(Probably the BEST 1-6 teams in the country. I wonder if Jazzy Jeff will be making the voyage to G-Vegas for this one?)

WEEK #7 GAMES: 2017/18 COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHALLENGE (sponsored by Donald J. Trump's hairpiece and SportClips

(Lots of competitive games for WEEK #7, but hard to find a standout "Game Of The Week". It's great to see a U.S. Military school back in Top 25. Should be a good one in Memphis)

9:00 UCLA (3-2) at Arizona (3-2) PAC-12 Network

____________________________________

ALMOST made the cut...

Northwestern at Maryland
(Should be a hard fought Big 10 + 4 game in College Park. David S. Green will be live and in living color for this one)

#6 Texas Christian at Kansas State
(Don't let the number to the left of TCU fool you. Horned Frogs are VERY good, but it's tough to come out of Bill Snyder Family Stadium with a W. Wildcats less than a TD dawg)

#12 Oklahoma at Texas
(Hate to leave the Red River Rivalry off the slate, but this game has lost a little luster with Hook 'Em waning a bit in recent years. However, I thought Michigan would roll over Sparty last weekend)

Vanderbilt at Mississppi
(Two decent SEC teams fighting for bowl eligibility to start back half of the season)

Utah at #13 USC
(Utes can regain a number beside their name they lost after L to Stanford last Saturday. Winning in Land of Troy will not be easy)

4:00 Arkansas (2-2) at South Carolina (3-2) SEC Network

8:00 #11 Washington State (5-0) at Oregon (4-1) FOX

10:15 Stanford (3-2) at #20 Utah (4-0) FS1

_______________________________

ALMOST made the cut...

Michigan State at #7 Michigan
(Hate to leave Sparty & Wolves off the slate, but MSU's 3-1 record is deceptive. Wolves too much in BIG House 2017)

Alabama at Texas A&M
(Talk about another deceptive record. Aggies are a solid 4-1 and could give Tide a tussle for a quarter or two with The 12th Man on their side. However, Bama will end up with another SEC roadkill rout when the scoreboard clock reads zeros)

Arizona at Colorado
(Could be a very close game between two vanilla PAC-12 teams)

Air Force at Navy
(Falcons are much better than their 1-3 record, but rout at the hands of New Mexico last time out took them out of contention for WEEK #6 slate)

Maryland at Ohio State
(I still miss the Twerps in the #goacc... could give Bucks a run for their money at The Shoe)
