ALMOST made the cut...

#4 Clemson at Florida State (Would have made the slate a few weeks ago. Tigers are locked in, Noles are not "BACK")

#19 Kansas at Oklahoma (Unfortunately, Jalen Daniels will be DNP  in this one... but can ROCK, CHALK, JAYHAWK beat BOOMER SOONER anyway? Probably not...)

#25 JAMES MADISON at Georgia Southern (Really wanted to celebrate Dukes first ever appearance in D-1 Top 25, but 11.5 spread too much... although GSU could make this a closer game)

Iowa State at #22 Texas (Cyclones come into Austin losing 3 very tough games. 16 point spread WAY too much for Hook "Em)

Arkansas at Brigham Young (Pig Suey flies into Provo also losers of 3 straight, but is a current 1.5 fav. Came down to this game or Bayou Bengals @ Gator Nation)

  6. ANY BODY GONNA TRY ANY OF THAT NEW CUISINE AT THE NC STATE FAIR THIS YEAR??? But I digress..

BIGGEST WEEKEND IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL THUS FAR IN 2022!

    MICHIGAN 26 PENN STATE 23:
Both of these teams have built their resumes on good but certainly not great schedules thus far. James Franklin wants this badly, but Wolves close out in 4th at BIG HOUSE. Consider this a CFP elimination game.

    MINNESOTA 27 ILLNOIS 20:
PJ Fleck gets the Gophers back on track after loss to Purdue with a tough roadie in Champagne.

    TENNESSEE 41 ALABAMA 38:
Should be quite the scene at Rocky Top!!! Bama is still Bama, but I didn't like the way the Texas A&M game wen down last weekend. BIG question is whether Bryce Young will play (probably will) and how effective he will be? Tide should be able to throw on Vols secondary, and we all know what Josh Heupel's offense can do. Here says Hooker makes one more big play than Young/Milroe, and Vols move directly into CFP picture. Could 3 SEC teams make CFP in 2022???

OKLAHOMA STATE 39 TEXAS CHRISTIAN 36:
Anybody's ballgame here, but Mike Gundy takes Pokes to winner's circle in Fort Worth. Sure bet these two meet again in BIG 12 - 2 champoinship.

    NC STATE 19 SYRACUSE 16:
Lots of questions at QB as Wolfpack enters a near sell out at THE DOME. Some thinking is that Devin Leary might play (but i doubt it). Will Jack Chambers be allowed to throw the ball (a la his days at Charleston Southern)? Will freshman dual threat MJ Morris see the field? Regardless, this will probably be a fast, low scoring game because both teams will run a lot. NCSU wins big battle of field goals betwixt Dunn and Szmyt.

    FLORIDA 24 LSU 21:
Gator Nation gets a vital SEC win against Brian Kelly and Bayou Bengals.

    MISSISSIPPI STATE 30 KENTUCKY 27:
Bulldogs have been a bad beat for me this season. I will take them and in Lexington today behind Will Rodgers.

    USC 37 UTAH 31:
Just another great game in a Saturday of great games. Utes will be ready at home after loss to Bruins, but I think Trojans will be in CFP in 2022.

    NORTH CAROLINA 43 DUKE 33:
Hard to believe Duke's third down defense is worse than UNC's (although Duke has played better D overall). Duke is coming off a tough L to GT whilst UNC played somewhat better D vs THE U. Devils have plenty of injuries at present, and Drake Maye should have another great day in this prime time point fest.

OREGON STATE 24 WASHINGTON STATE 20:
Wazzu QB Chance Nolan probably won't play. Beavers pull out a thriller in key PAC 12 After Dark game.

HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND!!! GOOOOO PACK!!!
