12:00 Indiana at Rutgers

12:00 Kansas at Baylor

2:00 Eastern Michigan at Ball State

3:00 West Virginia at Texas Tech

3:30 Memphis at Tulane

3:30 Georgia Southern at Old Dominion

3:30 Marshall at James Madison

7:30 Minnesota at #16 Penn State

8:00 Pittsburgh at Louisville

 ___________________________________________

 ALMOST made the cut...

#24 Mississippi State at #6 Alabama (Pirate Mike and Will Rodgers COULD pull this one off after seeing Vols throw all over Bama secondary. HOWEVER, Tide will be out of CFP picture with an L. Who is going to pick against Saban after a rare defeat?)

Minnesota at #16 Penn State (Wolverines exposes PSU in a major way last weekend. Nittany Lions should get back on track against recently struggling Gophers. but PJ Fleck will make a game of it)

Marshall at James Madison (How are the Thundering Heard 3-3 after beating Irish in WEEK 2? Dukes a double digit fav, but lost to Georgia Southern last weekend with an almost identical spread)

Kansas at Baylor (Hard to believe Bears were in Top 10 a few weeks ago and now out of Top 25 altogether. Will Jalon Daniels be back for KU soon? Important BIG 12 - 2 game)

West Virginia at Texas Tech (A couple of 3-3 teams striving for that 6 to get to bowl eligibility. Should be some points in this one)

  7. CLEMSON 37 SYRACUSE 16:
Orange come into Tigertown with a 6-0 record and a #14 ranking, but the resume thus far is mediocre at best. Will be a defensive battle early, but Dabo extends nation's longest home winning streak as Tigers breeze in second half behind DJU.

    MIAMI 30 DUKE 23:
Duke could easily be 6-1 and 3-0 in ACC albeit for a key penalty late against GT & UNC. Really important game as both teams try to reach bowl eligibility. Give THE U the edge with their passing game and home field advantage. Devils still have shots with VT & BC on schedule.

    OREGON 41 UCLA 38:
Should be a heckuva game. Both teams come in hot, with the only loss between them the opening debacle by Dawgs over Ducks. Utah ended USC's CFP hopes (or just about) last weekend. Ducks will do the same to Bruins this weekend with a last minute FG.

    TEXAS 37 OKLAHOMA STATE 34:
Cowboys coming off really tough loss to Horned Frogs last weekend (should have won the game). QB Spencer Sanders is banged up and might not play. The return of QB Quinn Ewers has revitalized Horns. Hook 'Em gets a big BIG 12 -2 win in Stillwater.

    BRIGHAM YOUNG 31 LIBERTY 26:
Love this game! Cougs made the trip east to play Coastal Carolina in a thriller during the year of Covid. They came back east to take on another small school "superpower" (LOL!) in Liberty. Flames fans will be jacked for BYU's visit, but Cougs get key defensive stops in 4th to make the winner's circle.

    MISSISSIPPI 26 LSU 23:
Everyone is talking about 3 SEC teams in CFP, but nobody is mentioning Joey Freshwater's UNDEFEATED Rebs (albeit a fairly soft schedule thus far) as one of those teams. Tigers are a 1.5 fav, but if Ole Miss running game can keep Jayden Daniels off the field, Hotty Toddy goes to 8-0.

BOISE STATE 19 AIR FORCE 16:
Broncos have the #1 run defense in Mountain West, and the offense has improved greatly since start of season.. Should be a low scoring grinder of a game.

  8. EAST CAROLINA 38 CENTRAL FLORIDA 35:
Purple Pirates haven't been on CFC slate since opener vs. NC State. Central Florida currently in tie with Cincy and Tulsa atop the American, but ECU gets big W in crazy G-Vegas as they head towards bowl eligibility.

    TEXAS A&M 27 SOUTH CAROLINA 24:
Cocks beat UK without Will Levis, but rest of schedule has been soft. Jimbo's "NIL All-Stars" might be a year away, but will end a four game road trip away from College Station with close W.

KANSAS STATE 39 TEXAS CHRISTIAN 36:
Horned Frogs coming off of HUGE win over Pokes last weekend. Wildcats will have just enough in 4th quarter behind Adrian Martinez and Deuce Vaughn to earn a visit by College Gameday to The Little Apple next weekend!!!
