Army at Coastal Carolina (Came down to this game or Houston-UTSA. Do The Mullet Men still have that magic??? Black Knights will be a very tough challenge)

#4 Clemson at Georgia Tech (This game has given Tigers trouble at times... playin in HOTlanta. After last year's "setback", does anybody really thing CU will lose this one?)

Illinois at Indiana (Illinois rolled Wyoming in WEEK 0. Early BIG 10 + 4 clash)

Arizona at San Diego State (Aztecs about a TD fav. CBS is showin this one nationally)

Liberty at Southern Miss (What direction to Flames go without Malik Willis?)

  2. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS...
    DUKE 26 TEMPLE 19:
Both teams trying to "rebuild" after 3-9 seasons last year. Temple didn't score more than 14 points the last seven games of 2021 season. The Mike Elko Era starts out with a W in Durham, but I will put over/under total 2022 W's at 3.5 and go under.

  3. To be clear... Owls didn't score more than 14 points in EACH of their last 7 games of 2021, not TOTAL points.

It's time for the hype to end and the game to be played!!! Yeah, Pack is 1-4 in last 5 trips to G-Vegas, but the past is the past. IF the Pack is going to have a historic year, it has to start here! Purple Pirates will make a big play or two on defense to keep things close early, but if NCSU can run the ball to help open up the passing game for Heisman candidate Devin Leary, the D should take care of the rest. Pack pulls away comfortably in second half. #gopack

NORTH CAROLINA 48 APPALACHIAN STATE 45:
I've been back and forth on this one as much as the Vegas line. One thing for sure, there will be plenty of points in this one! Mounties will be hype with a record setting crowd expected in Boone. Former Tiger & Dukie Chase Brice is in his 20th year of college football, and definitely has the experience over Drake Maye, although Maye MAY be more talented. Mack 2.0 has been stockpiling 4/5 star recruits since his return. Coin flip of a game, but Heels return the favor after tASUs W in Chapel Hill in '19. HOPE I'M WRONG!!!

    GEORGIA 30 OREGON 19
Ducks might have the best LBs in the country, and they did beat tOSU at The Shoe in early September last year. But, Dawgs have a winner in Bennett at qb and a still incredible defense. UGGA headed to another CFP?

    ARKANSAS 27 CINCINNATI 24:
One of the better games of the day. Will the Bearcats D be as stout as 2021? Pig Suey offense prevails in 4th. Big win for SEC.

    HOUSTON 34 UTSA 27:
Roadrunners reeled off 12 straight in 2021. Will be tough to replicate that with Cougs batting lead off in 2022 schedule.

    FLORIDA 20 UTAH 17:
Utes are #7 and have a great team for 2022, but this is a tough cross country trip to THE SWAMP to start the season. New Gator coach Billy Napier will have his team ready. This should be a defensive battle, and a great game. I'm goin with Craiggers here... CHOP!!! CHOP!!!

OHIO STATE 38 NOTRE DAME 27:
Bucks will be ready after losing to Ducks last September. C.J. Stroudt might be Heisman front runner, and he still has plenty of talent at skill positions after major losses at WR. However, 17 point spread too much. Irish make tit a game into the 4th quarter.

OREGON STATE 33 BOISE STATE 30:
Beavers and Broncs might put on the best game of the day that not many people will see. Give tOSU the advantage in crazy Corvallis. Beavers go to winner's circle on last second FG.

    FLORIDA STATE 29 LSU 26:
Brian Kelly starts a new gig in Baton Rouge after a long tenure in South Bend. Seems like just yesterday Ed Orgeron and Joe Burrow brought home a natty title. Kelly will get LSU back, but it's time for Noles to get back in national spotlight. It was only Duquesne, but tFSU looked sharp in opener. Noles make big defensive stop late in the game as they return to glory in 2022. #goacc

    ENJOY THE WEEKEND!!! GOOOOOO PACK!!!
