ALMOST made the cut..,

#1 Alabama at Texas (Yours Truly will definitely tune in for this one! Hook 'Em has plenty of talent and Austin will be rockin', but Steve Sarkisian's Horns not ready to handle Darth Saban. That current 20 point spread too much for this game to make WEEK 2 slate)

#10 USC at Stanford (This rivalry has seen some classics and some classic upsets, but not this year. Lincoln Riley looking for Trojans first CFP trip. SC should be more than a current TD fav)

South Carolina at #16 Arkansas (Key early SEC match-up betwixt two teams that have no shot at winning the league, but will go bowlin')

Virginia at Illinois (ACC could use some style points as Hoos have tough game vs. BIG 10 + 4 foe)

#23 Wake Forest at Vanderbilt (Deacs almost two TD fav over 2-0 Commodores. Could be tough for a while, but Sam Hartman is back this weekend)

  8. BACK TO BACK 10-0's??? LET'S DO THIS!!!

    KANSAS STATE 34 MISSOURI 26:
Deuce Vaughn might be best RB in NCAA. Nebraska transfer QB Adrian Martinez will help K-State be a major factor in BIG 12 -2. Tigers keep this game close till 4h quarter.

    NORTHWESTERN 30 DUKE 19
Blue Devils pitched their first shutout last weekend in a couple of decades (albeit against a woeful Temple offense). Mike Elko will get Duke back on track, but Wildcats running game too much today.

NORTH CAROLINA 47 GEORGIA STATE 34:
The line on this game has actually shrunk from 7.5 to 7. Heels will probably give up a lot more points, but Drake Maye (better than Sam Howell according to Adam Gold) stays on fire against Mack 2.0's daunting Sun Belt road schedule. We'll know a lot more about UNC-Cheat next weekend vs. Irish.

    UTSA 34 ARMY 33:
Yours Truly might actually flip over to this game once Bama is up by 3 TDs in 2nd quarter vs. Hook 'Em. Both teams coming off tough opener losses. Big early game for bowl eligibility in December. Roadrunners win on last second FG.

    TENNESSEE 51 PITTSBURGH 48:
Hooker and Slovis might put up Arena League numbers similar to Maye and Brice last weekend in Boone. Vols get revenge after last Maalox Masher in Knoxville vs. Panthers.

    IOWA 16 IOWA STATE 13:
Hawkeyes offense started out dreadful, so there is nowhere but up from here. The past hasn't been good to Cyclones vs. Hawkeyes. I'm only taking Iowa because they are at home. Total points might be too high.

    HOUSTON 40 TEXAS TECH 37:
Really tough game to call. Lubbock will be rockin', but they are without their starting QB. Cougars got a great test against UTSA. Red Raiders surely will be looking ahead to their trip to Carter-Finley next Saturday night. Houston stays unbeaten.

    FLORIDA 29 KENTUCKY 24:
Lots of hype around Gator Nation after win over Utes. Anthony Richardson now a Heisman front runner??? I would take Cats, but they have 3 RBs out. Gators time to prove it.

    BAYLOR 26 BRIGHAM YOUNG 19:
Cougs are a still a 2.5 fav over Bears without BYU's top two wide receivers? Must be because the game is in Provo. #9 Bears are better and will show it tonight. Hopefully BU football team will get treated better than Duke volleyball team in Provo.

FRESNO STATE 37 OREGON STATE 34:
Beavers looked good at home vs. Boise State, but I'll take the Bulldogs as a two point home dawg tonight. Will anybody on East Coast watch this game?

NCSU 51 CS 9 (weather may tamp down things today)

Seems like you guys aren't into gimmicky innovation. LOL!!!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!! GO PACK!!!
