    ALABAMA 37 KANSAS STATE 24: (15 POINTS)
    Really impressed that Young and Anderson are going to play for Bama. This team has too much pride to lose Sugar Bowl. KSU will keep it close for a while.

    KENTUCKY 20 IOWA 16: (4 POINTS)
    Total points here might be way too high. Wish Devin Leary could play in this game, but that will have to wait till next year. Team that can break a big play in second half will win this one. Coin flip for Cats.

    MICHIGAN 37 TEXAS CHRISTIAN 31: (25 POINTS)
    This game is going to be close... FINALLY!!! All opening card games of CFP have had margins of 17 points or more. Max Duggan and Horned Frogs will be ready after losing their perfect season to KSU in BIG 12 - 2 title game, and will take early control. Michigan proved it can win a big game without Corum, but will have to do it again. Wolves defense will make a big play in 4th quarter to preserve win. (This game might even go OT, but I'm not officially calling for that).

    OHIO STATE 30 GEORGIA 27: (15 POINTS)
    Could we actually have TWO close CFP semis? YES!!! If there can be a Duke-UNC matchup in Final Four, there will be a Mich-OSU matchup in CFP. Georgia is playing basically at home (in front of many billionaires wearing khakis, according to Pat McAfee...LOL!!!), but Bucks fans will represent in HOTlanta. All the pressure is on UGA as they try to depend their title (never being done in CFP era). Stroud and Harrison will be able to get some TDs against the vaunted Bulldog D and tOSU will play with the Rodney Dangerfield "can't get not respect" chip on their shoulder.

    Both teams have HEAVY losses due to transfer portal and NFL prep. Purdue has a coaching change. Bollers will still make it a game, but Jayden Daniels is coming back for 2023 and will be the difference today.

    TULANE 30 USC 27 (10 POINTS)
    Which team will be more motivated in this one? Tulane will be for sure. Trojans have some key losses due to transfer and NFL prep. Caleb Williams is best player on the field, but might not be 100%. Green Wave gets a great win in a historic season with physical ground game.

    UTAH 34 PENN STATE 26: (15 POINTS)
    Cam Rising and the Utes will be ready for the NIttany Lions after last season's heartbreaking loss to tOSU in the Granddaddy of them ALL!!!
