RYAN'S MAKE-UP GAME:  Miami, THE U (4-5) at Georgia Tech (4-5)

__________________________________________

ALMOST made the cut (back after a week absence)...

Boston College at #16 NC State (Eagles gave Duke some good run last Friday, but Pack should break home winning streak record in final game at Carter-Finley for 2022. Will they cover 19 point spread?)

#7 LSU at Arkansas (Bayou Bengals only 3.5 fav at this hour after stunning W over Roll Tide last week. Would have loved to have this game on slate, but Pig Suey lost at home to Flames. LSU goes back to fraudulent status if they lose this one)

Louisville at #10 Clemson (Yeah, the Cards have gained some traction and are going to a bowl, but Tigers are going to win out the rest of November... notice I only said November? If Cade Klubnik can reach his #1 HS QB status, Tigers can win in December and January)

#1 Georgia at Mississippi State (Actually, this game probably would never have made the WEEK 11 slate, BUT... Pirate Mike and the boyz in Starkvegas would love to mess up CFP picture even more!!!)

Maryland at #14 Penn State (6-3 Terps could make 2022 quite the breakout season with a win in Happy Valley)

  4. Cincinnati - wouldn't surprise me if ECU wins, but Cinci is better by a hair.
Duke - who would have thought this rag tag team would go bowling? One penalty away from a shot at the division.
Alabama - could be tricky for Bama, but they survive.
Tulane - no one talking about the Green Wave.
Marshall - two Jeckel Hyde teams. Herd get this one.
Iowa - maybe pass on watching this one.
    Oregon - coming on strong.
Baylor - I'll take the home team.
Texas - counted them out, but here they are.
Wake - No D in this one. I'm throwing out a score for kicks.
    51-41.
    State 41-17.
Have a great weekend! Be safe. Hope rains goes away Saturday. Go Pack! Bruce

  7. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS...

    EAST CAROLINA 34 CINCINNATI 31:
Mike Houston's Purple Pirates come to Cincy winners of three straight and haven't turned the ball over in any of those games. Bearcats are 7-2, but haven't been winning with ease as of late and have had issues with TOs and 3rd down conversions. ECU's balanced attack will get the job done tonight in another tough roadie... won at Provo last time out. How long till a major takes Pirate Mike (sorry, Miss St) away from Greenville? Probably not very long.

  9. DUKE 27 VIRGINIA TECH 24:
Devils should be in control of the Coastal right now. Hokies are 2-7, but come to Wallace Wade off of three straight close losses to THE U, NCSU, GT. I had VT all week in this one, but will give the Devils the edge with a late 4th quarter stop.

    ALABAMA 37 MISSISSIPPI 27:
Joey Freshwater will have Rebs primed at The Grove, but this game will be determined by whether Roll Tide is still focused on the rest of the season. Many Bama fans still think they have a chance at CFP with two losses. HHHHmmmm?

    CENTRAL FLORIDA 30 TULANE 27:
Green Wave is one of the best stories in NCAA football this year, and they are tough at home. However, Knights have best offense in American Athletic Conference and Tulane has trouble putting pressure on the QB. UCF moves to 3 way tie with Cincy & Tulane for 1st.

    MARSHALL 29 APPALACHIAN STATE 26:
Both teams are 5-4, but Thundering Herd needs two more wins to get to a bowl game because one of their W's doesn't qualify. Both of these teams have been up and down, but Marshall has that dub over Irish. Thundering Herd's dominant rush D holds the Mounties down enough. HFA will be a factor.

    WISCONSIN 20 IOWA 16:
Badgers should have just enough offense to win a total grinder at Iowa City. Winner gets a prime mid-December bowl. Total points here are probably way to high here.

    OREGON 41 WASHINGTON 34:
Should be lots of offense in Eugene betwixt these hated boarder rivals. Great QB match-up between Nix and Penix. Ducks think they can still get #4 slot in CFP. Have to win out, obviously.

    BAYLOR 36 KANSAS STATE 33:
Bears started the season as a Top 10 team and still have a shot at BIG 12-2 title game. BU will run the ball against Wildcats and get some key TOs in 2nd half.

  10. TEXAS CHRISTIAN 40 TEXAS 33:
Hook 'Em is a 7.5 fav (???), yet the chic "upset" pick of the week across the nation. Funny how that works! Max Duggan and the TCU offense will have no problem scoring on TU defense and Horned Frogs remain on path to CFP.

WAKE FOREST 51 NORTH CAROLINA 48:
Really tough game to call. Drake Maye is a Heisman candidate (I will finally admit it), but Sam Hartman has great talent as well. Deacs come into this game losers of two straight, whilst UNC has been livin' large with 3 point wins over mediocre (at best) Coastal teams... THE U, Duke, UVA. Dave Clawson is a better coach than to lose 3 straight. Yeah, last team with ball probably wins. Deacs end UNC's CFP hopes.
    (HA! HA! HA!)

BONUS POINT: NC STATE 37 BOSTON COLLEGE 13
    (17 STRAIGHT AT CARTER-FINLEY!!!)
